CD Piano Passion features exclusively works by female composers

I think it is very important to play and record music by female composers, because women are not sufficiently represented in the music scene.

Fanny Hensel for example, who wrote beautiful music, played only one single public concert. The other concerts were self organized private concerts.

I love the music of Hildegard von Bingen, Mel Bonis, Clara Schumann and Fanny Hensel. It is wonderful music and I feel honored to be able to interpret  the music of these four women. I feel it is important to make female composers more well-known in this world.

I listened to the piece Églogue from Mel Bonis at Youtube and fell at once in love with the music.

When I was a student I heard the 2nd Scherzo from Clara Schumann, played by another student and I wanted to play it urgently - So I studied it with my Ukrainian teacher Prof. Pavel Gililov . Later on in 2025 I felt the strong desire to study and play it again.

September from Fanny Hensel was a piece which I also heard at Youtube.

I got a gift of the score The Year by Eva Weissweiler -  a woman who did a lot of research about Fanny Hensel.

I met Hildegard von Bingen and her music 2005 and was fascinated by the holy person and their beautiful unusual music. It is a spiritual and meditative work to arrange and play her music on the piano. When I arrange her music for the piano I sing the melodies and improvise also a lot about her compositions on the piano.
